The “five senses. Pause” is an educational event and also cultural. Its implementation provides for a number of events related to the music – its theory and practice. Among the planned events highlight the music workshops, addressed to the deaf community, conducted with the participation of musicians and musicologists and specialists in sign language. This workshop will take the form of meetings, during which they discussed aspects of music theory and, therefore, will combine the elements of a lecture with exercises alone play an instrument. In addition to workshops on music theory, will also take place the meeting, during which the musicians will present a selection of instruments. Information on the construction of the instruments, how to extract the sound of them and the ability to touch the surface trembling soundboard can make the sound ceases to be an abstract concept, and will become a noticeable phenomenon and defined through another sense. One of the most important events related to the implementation of the “five senses. Pause” are music workshops, involving the completion of testing, during which the Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra “Amadeus” Agnes Duczmal conducting with a group of deaf people, will prepare the track, made the final concert , summarizing the project.
