Boikos are highlanders inhabiting the Western slopes of the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains. They live in isolation from the outside world, preserving their folk customs and rites. Their lives do not differ much from the lives of their ancestorsâ and their existence closely follows the cycles of nature.
Ongoing project supported by the Polish Ministry of Culture.
